Description
Soft, fresh and a little bit retro, mint is one of those colours that instantly brightens a desk. The Scrikss Primeo Mint fountain pen puts it on a simple, reliable writing tool that's perfect for anyone taking their first steps into fountain pens. There's nothing to set up: open the blister pack, fit the included cartridge, and write.
Why we like it for new writers
People are often nervous that fountain pens are messy or complicated. The Primeo proves otherwise. Its steel Medium nib is smooth and forgiving, so it doesn't mind a slightly heavy hand, and the cartridge system keeps your fingers clean. Once you notice how little pressure it takes to write, you may find it hard to go back to a ballpoint.
Designed for real life
The snap cap clicks on and off in a second, which is handy when you're writing in short bursts in class or at work. While you're writing, the cap posts neatly onto the back of the pen. The plastic body and trim keep it light enough to carry all day and tough enough for a crowded pencil case.
A cheerful gift
Mint is a gender-neutral, happy colour that suits teenagers and adults alike. The Primeo makes a thoughtful little present for students starting a new term, for creative friends who journal, or as a budget-friendly fountain pen gift for a group.
Want a set? The Primeo also comes in black, pink, lilac, latte and kiwi.
