Wrong direction

Just hold and open the cap. Then decide how you should imprint.

Wrong item delivered

It was not at all a wonderful experience for me. Initially I had ordered a Pilot Kakuno and I was told the item can’t be delivered as it is received broken at their end. I considered the situation and ordered a pilot metropolitan Medium nib and out out of surprise I received a Fine nib. I was told that it can be returned but the return process is cumbersome so I asked them that I Will try with the fine nib only and if it is ok then I Will keep it otherwise a return can be issued to me which was agreed by them. Just using once I told them that the pen is not good and you May issue my refund. But it came as a surprise to me and they denied after initially agreeing to it. That’s why people go for sites kike Amazon where the return process is quite easy. This was my final purchase. I won’t go with Makoba in future for any purchase.

Improvements: I was cheated by you all regarding engraving and no call back after complaint. Pathetic.
Avoid at all costs

The engraving, as in description, was supposed to be on cap. Firstly they engrave on the tubing or the body in yellow color. Destroyed a beautiful pen which looks now like a throw away pen. They did not even confirm whether they can change from cap to body. Evidences available.

Super speedy delivery & great buying experience

Ordering a personalized pen from Makoba was super easy and efficient. I loved the packaging as well. The only feedback is the font fize of embossing. I would have preferred for it to be little bigger as it is not clearly visible.

Excellent beginner Fountain pen!

I love the Fine nib. The scratchy feedback is amazing. The ink flow is excellent with the given ink cartridge. Go for it. No regrets!

One of favorite pens now. Bought it in broad (writes like a medium) with minimal feedback (lovely). The pen is light but not very large although it's 1911L.

Extremely Smooth. The medium nib is equal to the fine nib of German-made nibs. Very satisfied with the Ink flow and ergonomics of the pen!

This is my first pilot product, I loved it.

Beautiful Pen

My first purchase from makoba. It’s a wonderful fountain pen for small handwriting. The point is finer than a usual Lamy fine nib. And the pen writes with a buttery smooth texture on Tomoe river paper.
It was also delivered very quickly after ordering. The packaging was very nice. Would love to purchase from Makoba again.
