Pen is best and so is the staff at Makoba..

Was confused in Fine an EF nib, but then went with the EF and yes, thats the exact thickness i needed. The pen is smooth as a butter even with EF nib. It’s nothing like i have ever used. And a special thanks to Karuna mam for helping me out with the purchase and solving all my queries and doubts.. I was using Parker Vector for the whole of my life, since i remember using a pen. This one is just a bar ahead of that. Its not cheap though, but when you look at fountain pens cost for the good ones, it’s worth a spend…
About the cons…the pen is a bit thick, and the seam near the barrel is kind of noticeable.

Japanese finesse

After much deliberation, I decided to buy the Platinum Curidas Abyss Blue fountain pen from Makoba, as I was very intrigued by the retractable nib mechanism that this pen possesses. The translucent blue resin body shows off the intricate mechanism by which the nib is retracted into the body and is covered with a plastic cap to prevent the ink from drying. It writes as good as it looks and the medium SS nib is smooth with a satisfying tactile feedback. Overall a delicious pen and with Makoba's immaculate customer care, I hope to have many years of smooth writing.
