Lamy is Germany's best-known modern pen maker, celebrated for functional, timeless design. The LX takes the brand's iconic shape and upgrades it with an aluminium body and PVD (physical vapour deposition) trim, a hard-wearing coating that keeps its colour and shine. The pen weighs just 21g (11g cap, 10g barrel), measures 139mm capped and 169mm posted, and has a 12.8mm diameter.

The barrel has an ink window, so you can check how much ink is left at a glance and never run dry at the wrong moment.
Steel nib: Extra Fine to Broad
Choose from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. Extra Fine and Fine are great for small handwriting and planners; Medium is a smooth all-rounder; Broad shows off ink colour and shading.
Cartridge and converter included
The LX comes with a cartridge (about 1.56ml) and a converter (about 1.08ml), so you can start writing immediately and switch to bottled ink whenever you like.
