The converter is working fine. And easy to use.
The only thing I can complain is that this doesn't have the golden embossed logo as shown in the picture on the website. Though this doesn't impede any functionality.

This is the first time I bought a pen from Makoba. The assistance from the Makoba people from starting to delivery was very professional and it made the whole process a delightful experience.
The pen was Sailor professional gear slim fountain pen with music nib. Pen came with excellent packaging. It's a beautiful pen with smooth non-flex stubby wet nib with good line variation which make the writing very pleasurable.

The fountain pen not only looks beautiful but writes also beautifully, without any glitches. In fact, in real it looks much better than in photo. Also, Makoba’s representatives are extremely helpful and reply to your questions efficiently. I also like the speed at which the pen was delivered, well packed and safe.

The pen is light weight and I can go on writing with it for long hours. The fine nib is buttery smooth and glides on the page.

This was the first fountain pen i had bought from their store, and it is such a great pen. Especially the replacable nibs. Absolutely loved it.

This is a gorgeous writer's [luxury] pen. The size, weight and balance of this pen fits my smallish hands very well. It's light but not too light (pen doesn't need to be pressed on the paper). Section is just the right width and flare. Great for long writing sessions. The Urushi coating feels wonderful in the hands and is warm to the touch. The felt lining near the bottom of the cap is a thoughful touch (my Pelikan M800 contains visible marks where the end of the cap meets the barrel). The Medium nib has a line width that falls between a Western Fine and Medium, and the Broad between a wetern Medium and Broad. The writing has some character and it's not plain round tipping like a say a Lamy (2000 being an exception - more stub like) or Pelikan. The nib has a light feedback and bounce. Feed is reliable with moderate-wet flow . Out of the box the nib was tuned well a bit on the dryer side, but that's an easy fix. Con-70 takes some getting used to but works well once you get the hang of it. Law of diminishing returns hits hard beyond a Custom 74, and i would expect the Custom 823 to have the same performance (maybe even slightly better because of the 14k nib) at half the price. That said, the asking price is worth it considering the quality of the pen, and workmanship involved in Urushi coating. The black version looks classy, and the Vermillion has a unique look and less is flashy than what the pictures might suggest.

The color somehow reminds me of Waterman Serenity Blue. Wetting the page will only slightly lift off the ink. The ink can smear on a wet page but the writing remains legible. There's no shading. It runs wet but dries quickly on the page. Looks great out of my Lamy 2000 fine which now writes like a medium-fine with this ink. I prefer this over the Documental Black version which is too flat and gray for my preference. Note: the ink did stain the mackralon body of the Lamy 2000 after inking it. Took some vigorous rubbing with water and isopropyl alcohol to get it out. Do not use with expensive pens.

Such a beautiful pen... and the flow of the nib is also stunning.. Absolutely amazing!

Outstanding smoothness and light weight

Perfect shade of pink. Right in the middle of YamaBudo and KosuMosu. A pleasure to write with. Plus the packaging was excellent and very careful.
