A Lamy fountain pen can be an everyday writing tool, a personal gift or a step into a different writing experience. Our collection brings together models including Safari, AL-Star and 2000. At Makoba, we help you compare what matters to you before deciding on a model, finish and nib.

Start with the Lamy model

Explore Safari when you want to compare its broad selection of listed colours and nib options. Look through AL-Star if its listed materials and finishes appeal to you. Include Lamy 2000 in your comparison if you are considering a different model and want to understand its specifications before choosing.

Avoid choosing from photographs alone. Read the dimensions, materials, filling system and box contents on each product page. These details help you judge how the pen fits your writing routine and what accessories you may need.

Choose the nib around your handwriting

The range includes models listed with Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad options; selected products show additional choices such as Double Broad or LH. Availability varies by pen and colour. Select the variant you want to see its current availability and price.

Smaller handwriting can make a finer line useful, while a broader line can suit larger writing or personal notes. Ink and paper influence the result too. Tell our specialists what you currently use and what you would like to change so we can help you compare sensibly.

Plan your ink and paper together

Not every Lamy model has the same filling arrangement. Check the exact listing before buying a converter, cartridge or other accessory, and confirm what is included in the box. A model name or brand name alone is not enough to establish accessory compatibility.

If you want bottled ink, compare inks intended for fountain pens and choose paper that works with your preferred line width. Our team can help with a shortlist for everyday notes, journaling or a gift.

Buying a Lamy fountain pen from Makoba

We support online purchases with pen specialists and five stores: Chennai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon and Bangalore. Each pen is checked by our QC team and photographed after QC before dispatch. Our packaging team takes care with delicate pens and glass ink bottles.

For a gift, share the occasion, the recipient's writing habits and your budget. For your own pen, share your preferred nib and the paper you normally use. That brief is more useful than assuming the most expensive option is automatically the best choice for you.
