Description
Click it once and you will understand why this pen is so addictive. The LAMY AL-star Disco ballpoint pen takes LAMY's reliable everyday ballpoint and gives it a bright green and pink makeover for 2026.
Party on the outside
In the Disco edition, the body glows in a bright, light green anodised aluminium, while the clip, front ring and translucent grip section burst into pink. Put it next to a black office pen and you will see why people ask, "Where did you get that?"
Serious on the inside
The LAMY M16 ballpoint refill writes a smooth black medium line and lasts a long time, while the push-button mechanism has a satisfying, positive click. The aluminium body is light enough to forget in your pocket and strong enough to survive daily commutes, school bags and travel.
Little things that make a big difference
- Triangular grip that stops fingers slipping during long note-taking
- Flexible metal clip in pink, perfect for diaries and shirt pockets
- Quick-drying ballpoint ink, great for forms, cheques and receipts
- Refills are widely available, so this pen can last for years
Who should buy it?
Anyone who wants a colourful premium ballpoint pen that still writes like a professional tool. Students, designers, teachers and pen collectors completing their Disco set all love it.
Special edition 2026
LAMY released Disco and Rollerskate as AL-star special editions in summer 2026, following the Pine and Flamingo editions earlier in the year. Like earlier AL-star special colours, they are expected to be available for a limited period.
A pen built to last
When the M16 refill finally runs out, unscrew the front, drop in a new one and keep writing. With an anodised aluminium body and replaceable refills, your Disco ballpoint can stay in daily use for many years.
