Description
A night sky in your pen: Private Reserve Cosmic Cobalt is a deep blue with violet undertones, rich and highly saturated.
Highlights
- Blue-violet depth: cobalt blue warmed with a hint of violet
- Shading: medium, giving lines a sense of depth
- Sheen: copper sheen can appear where ink pools heavily, such as in swabs or wet broad nibs
- Shimmer: none, so it is safe for everyday pens
When to use it
Cosmic Cobalt works as a daily writer that is more exciting than standard blue, and it photographs beautifully for ink swatch collections and pen journals.
Our tip
To see the copper sheen, pair it with a wet broad or stub nib on smooth, coated paper.
