Pilot Kakuno Fountain Pen - Translucent Pink
Your first fountain pen should make you smile, and this one literally does. The Pilot Kakuno Fountain Pen in Translucent Pink is finished in a soft, see-through pink, sweet and cheerful, so you can watch the ink inside as you write.
Pilot designed the Kakuno, including the Kakuno Translucent Pink, to make fountain pens fun and easy for beginners. The Kakuno Translucent Pink is perfect for students, journalers, sketchers and anyone curious about fountain pens, and at this price it is easy to collect a few colours.
The famous face on the nib
Like every Kakuno, the Kakuno Translucent Pink has a little character face on its nib, which also shows you which way up to hold it. The face on the Kakuno Translucent Pink is a small detail that makes people smile every time they uncap it.
Designed for good writing habits
The barrel of the Kakuno Translucent Pink is hexagonal, so it will not roll off your desk, and the triangular grip guides your fingers into a comfortable, relaxed hold. The Kakuno Translucent Pink is light and forgiving.
A smooth Japanese steel nib
The Kakuno Translucent Pink has a stainless steel nib in Fine or Medium. Japanese nibs write finer than European ones, so the Fine on the Kakuno Translucent Pink is great for small handwriting and planners, while the Medium gives a slightly bolder line.
Filling
The Kakuno Translucent Pink takes Pilot cartridges and comes with one to get you started. If you want to use bottled ink, a Pilot converter (sold separately) turns the Kakuno Translucent Pink into a bottle-filler, and the translucent body shows off the colour.
Size
The Kakuno Translucent Pink is 131mm long capped, 160mm posted and only about 11g, a featherweight you can carry anywhere.
