Frequently asked questions
How do I open the Eclipse?
Hold the pen and push the front and back halves of the barrel towards each other. The nib slides out with a reassuring click. Repeat to retract it.
How do I fill it?
Twist off the rear section to reach the included converter, then fill it from your favourite bottle of ink. A small raised guide helps you seat the converter correctly.
Will the nib dry out?
When retracted, the nib sits safely inside the body. As with any fountain pen, regular use and an occasional flush keep it writing smoothly.
Is it heavy?
At about 34g it has a substantial, quality feel without being tiring.
Can I remove the clip?
Yes, the clip is removable, and the twelve-sided body still will not roll away without it.
Emerald and rose gold
Nahvalur describes Emerald as saturated green with a refined edge: cool, architectural and quietly commanding. Paired with rose gold trim, it feels elegant and a little luxurious, a beautiful gift for anyone who loves green.
