Description
An ink with a cause: Vinta Apex Silver [Haribon 1994] is part of Vinta's Awareness Project, created to bring attention to the endangered animals of the Philippines.
The Philippine Eagle
Haribon, "king of birds", is a name for the Great Philippine Eagle, also called the monkey-eating eagle. Found only in the Philippines, it is one of the largest eagles in the world and was declared critically endangered in 1994.
The colour
- Grey base with subtle hints of purple and green
- Dazzling silver shimmer, like light on an eagle's feathers
- Medium shading
The rest of the Awareness Project
Its sister inks honour the pygmy blue whale, the Philippine crocodile, the Palawan peacock-pheasant and the Philippine sailfin lizard.
Shimmer tip
Give the bottle a gentle roll before filling so the silver particles are evenly mixed.
