Description
Some pens are made to be noticed. The Sailor Pensiero Verita Dark Grey ball pen is made to be relied on. Its muted charcoal resin and bright chrome trim give it a sharp, professional look that works in a boardroom, a clinic, a classroom or a lawyer's chamber equally well. For anyone hunting for a smart office ball pen from a respected Japanese maker, it ticks every box.
Designed for working days
Dark grey is a clever colour choice. It hides everyday scuffs better than black, looks more refined than blue, and doesn't clash with anything. The pen opens with a twist, so there's no cap to lose between client calls and no clicky button for colleagues to fidget with.
Dimensions are practical too: 133mm long, a 12mm barrel and 23g in weight. It's substantial enough to feel like a quality instrument yet light enough for long stretches of writing, which is exactly what you want from a daily writer pen.
A sensible corporate gift
If you're sourcing pens for a team, clients or a farewell, a neutral shade like this is a safe but classy choice. Every piece comes in its original Sailor packaging with an international warranty card, so it presents well straight out of the box.
Sailor in brief
Sailor was founded in Hiroshima, Japan, in 1911 and is best known for its fountain pens. The same attention to fit and finish carries through to its ball pens, including this Pensiero Verita range.
