Description
Inspired by clear skies over the Bay of Naples: Private Reserve Naples Blue is a soft, serene blue with a gentle lean towards turquoise.
In a few words
Bright but not loud, light but readable. Naples Blue gives medium shading, so each letter moves from pale to deeper blue, and heavy swabs can show a faint pink sheen.
Best for
- Letters and greeting cards with a relaxed, holiday feel
- Journaling and travel diaries
- A cheerful alternative to standard royal blue at work
Compare with
If you like Pelikan Edelstein Topaz or other light turquoise-blues, Naples Blue belongs in the same family.
Care tip
Choose smooth, coated paper for the crispest lines, as very cheap copy paper may feather. The ink is not water resistant.
