Added this to my collection of other colours. The Stub nib 1.1 is excellent to use. Tried the pen with a changed grip and the writing that emerged was at another level altogether, though the speed reduces a little. The blue looks sober and serious, ideal for a day of thought. Now I need to find a brighter colour for the fun days.
Nice bright and wet. Different from deep or dark red. Don't get it if dark is your think. Match your pen colour.
Purchased this Lamy Safari Scarlet (F) on Makoba anniversary sale for 2932/- INR. I was so excited but when I opened the box I was disappointed. The pen feels a bit cheap with complete plastic build which hardly justifies the price. And the fine nib is not satisfying to write, was expecting more thinner lines. I would suggest go for Extra-Fine nib for whose who want precise writing experience. I would go for AL Star version which feels more premium than safari if I were to purchase my first LAMY Pen.
The ink has a color which is more grey-ish than I prefer. But dries quickly. It’s fine, nothing amazing.
