What's a demonstrator?
A "demonstrator" is a transparent fountain pen. The name comes from pens originally made to show customers how the filling system worked. Today they're loved by collectors because they turn every ink change into a new look. Fill the Snowflake with blue one week and emerald green the next, and it feels like a different pen.
Piston filling, explained
There's no cartridge or converter here. The Delgado has a piston built into the barrel. Turn the end knob to lower the piston, dip the nib into your ink bottle, and turn it back to draw ink in. In a clear pen, you get to watch it happen.
Size and comfort
This is a big, comfortable pen: 143mm closed, 162mm posted and 15.8mm across. It weighs 26g in all. The wide body is easy to grip, and the screw cap seals securely for carrying.
