The Penlux Elite Black Knight is a stealth pen through and through: black body, black trim, nothing shiny to catch the light. It's a big, weighty fountain pen made for people who like their tools to look serious and understated.
Large, solid and made to be used unposted
This is a substantial pen. It's 152mm long capped with a thick 17mm diameter, and at 41.5g it's noticeably heavier than most resin pens. The body is made from multi-compressed PMMA, a dense acrylic material, which gives it that solid feel. The Elite is designed to be used unposted (the cap doesn't post), and with its length and weight you won't miss it.
Built-in piston, steel nib
Filling is by a built-in piston with about 1.50ml capacity, so you can use any bottled ink and go a good while between refills. The steel nib comes in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. On a heavier pen like this, many people enjoy letting the weight do the work, which makes Medium and Broad especially relaxing to write with.
