Description
The Lamy Studio fountain pen in Petrol is a Special Edition that brings a rich teal lacquer to one of Lamy's most refined designs. Petrol is a deep, sophisticated teal, and on the Lamy Studio's lacquered metal body it looks superb. This is a Special Edition colour, so it won't be around forever. With a steel nib in four sizes and both a cartridge and a converter included, it's a German fountain pen that's as practical as it is handsome.
Balanced metal body
The Studio's lacquered metal body gives it a satisfying weight: 31g in total (9g cap, 22g barrel), with most of the weight in the barrel for a stable, controlled feel. It measures 140mm capped and 153mm posted, with a 13mm diameter. The snap cap is quick to use and posts securely.
Steel nib: Extra Fine to Broad
Choose from Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. Extra Fine and Fine suit small, neat handwriting and everyday notebooks; Medium is a smooth all-rounder; and Broad shows off ink colour and shading beautifully.
Cartridge and converter both included
The pen comes with a cartridge (about 1.15ml) for instant, mess-free writing, and a converter (about 0.8ml) so you can fill from any bottle of fountain pen ink. A teal or blue-green ink makes a lovely match for the Petrol finish.
