Description
Classic black, polished gold and a shape with a sense of history: the Kaweco Dia2 Fountain Pen in Black GT is an elegant full-size fountain pen for writers who appreciate timeless design. It takes its cue from a Kaweco design of the 1930s, giving you a vintage look with modern reliability.
The Dia2 at a glance
Unlike Kaweco's compact pocket pens, the Dia2 is a proper full-size writer. It measures 131mm closed and 160mm with the cap posted, with a 14.2mm diameter that fills the hand comfortably. At 27g (9g cap, 18g barrel), it has a satisfying, balanced weight.
Black and gold elegance
A glossy black resin body with gold plated trim is one of the most classic combinations in fine writing. It's formal enough for the boardroom and signing ceremonies, and it makes an excellent executive gift for anyone who appreciates understated luxury.
Choose your nib
The steel nib comes in five sizes, so you can match it to your handwriting:
- EF (Extra Fine) and F (Fine): precise lines for small writing
- M (Medium): the all-rounder
- B (Broad) and BB (Double Broad): bold, expressive strokes that show off ink
Filling
The Dia2 uses a cartridge/converter filling system. Please note that the cartridge and converter are not included with the pen.
A secure screw cap
The screw cap seals the nib well, which helps keep ink from drying out between writing sessions.
