Had ordered Pelikan Brilliant Red 62.5 ml ink bottle. Using it in my Pilot Metropolitan medium nib pen, purchased from Makoba itself along with the ink. The colour is bright red, the flow is even and smooth. Writes pretty well on most type of papers.
I got my Pilot Metropolitan personalised with my name on the cap. It was basically the laser peeling off a top thin layer of paint / material, exposing the layer underneath which invariably becomes the font colour. A decent way to personalise your purchases on Makoba.
This is my second Pilot Metropolitan pen, both medium nibs. The metallic body feels premium to hold with just the right weight for effortless writing. Medium nib writes same as Lamy Safari Fine nib pen. A perfect pen in every sense.
Really good product with timely delivery.
Diplomat Esteem Fountain Pen - Lapis Black
Bought a few nice Waterman pens from you. The refills arent working! This is a bad experience.
I wanted to buy a few more pens but am not confident.
Very nice pen indeed. Elegant and writes well. The retractable nib is an unique feature . She is enjoying her gift indeed.
I spent a lot of time considering what pen I wanted owing to the fact that my previous pen, the Muji Aluminum Fountain Pen had a rather disappointing writing experience. And after this careful consideration I came to the conclusion that my next pen would be the eponymous Pilot Metropolitan. I can say hands down, out of my small collection of Parkers and the Muji, that the Pilot is the best looking as well as the best writer. Throughly satisfied with my purchase.
A rose with thorns dipped in blood and shadow. The ink glimmers first as deep wine, the color of a chalice raised in a darkened hall, before sinking into bruised plum and near-black velvet. It feels vampiric—luxurious yet fatal, like silk cloaked over stone or lips stained by forbidden hunger. There is a romance here, but it is no gentle love; it is the gothic allure of midnight gardens, where roses bloom against the cold and every petal hides a secret wound.
I'm new to the fountain pen saga.
And this one has been an absolute banger.
It flows like butter.
Lovely Vac filler pen
This is my first Laban pen and bought it here. The pen looks nice with a look of "made by marble". It writes smooth, soft and with nice feedback. Thanks a lot Makoba for the opportunity.
Custom 74 has been an absolute delight, bought from Makoba, broad nib, 14K gold. As an entry level gold nib, works perfectly fine. Though, people worried about nib size comparisons between western and Japanese nibs, should reconsider buying broad nib for pilot custom 74 thinking it at per with for western sizes, it is not. "Broad" seems like universally "Broad" .
Amazing service from Makoba as always. Safe, secure and fast. Thank you Makoba Team.
I was looking for this colour and got at Makoba. Thanks Makoba. Ink performance is excellent.
