The story behind Simbu
High in the mountains of Papua New Guinea live the Simbu, a farming and warrior people whose ceremonies connect the living with their ancestors. In their 'Dancing Skeletons' performance, men paint skeletal figures on their bodies to become spirits. Delta recreates those painted bones as a cast metal cage around the pen.
Vermeil: silver dressed in gold
Vermeil is sterling silver finished with gold. It gives the pen the warmth of gold with the substance of solid silver. Against the black resin, the golden skeleton cage glows dramatically.
A tribute to Delta's design heritage
The Indigenous People series has been part of Delta's identity since 2003. This edition honours designer Francesco Rienzi, whose work shaped the collection.
