The Tango shape
The Tango is one of Waldmann's best-known full-size models: 137mm closed, 11.6mm in diameter and about 39g. The Tango Black has a reassuring weight in the hand, and its screw cap keeps the nib safe in a bag.
A timeless black finish
Black lacquer gives the Tango Black a formal look that suits the office and important signatures, while the silver body and platinum-plated trim add a subtle shine.
German craftsmanship
Waldmann has been making writing instruments in Germany since 1918, and the Tango Black is produced in its workshop in the Pforzheim region, a centre of German jewellery making.
Nib and filling
Every Tango Black is fitted with a polished stainless steel nib in your choice of Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. The Tango Black takes standard international cartridges, and a converter is included for bottled ink.
Looking after the Tango Black
Sterling silver can darken gently with time; a soft silver cloth brings back the shine on the Tango Black. Flush the nib section of the Tango Black with clean water when you change ink colours.
