Description
A real silver pen that slips into a shirt pocket. The Waldmann Pocket Fountain Pen in Black Silver with Chrome Trim combines a 925 sterling silver body, glossy black lacquer and platinum-plated fittings in a compact 125mm size.
Key highlights
- Collection: Waldmann Pocket
- Material: 925 sterling silver with black lacquer
- Trim: platinum plated
- Cap: snap cap, postable
- Nib: stainless steel: EF, F, M or B
- Weight: 24g
Small size, full writing comfort
Capped, the Pocket Black Silver is just 125mm long and 9.6mm across, so it disappears into a diary loop or jacket. Post the snap cap on the barrel and the Pocket Black Silver becomes long enough for a full page of notes, while its 24g weight keeps it light in the hand.
Black and silver
Black lacquer over the silver gives this Pocket a smart, understated finish, with silver tones and platinum-plated details catching the light. It is a quietly elegant choice for a first silver pen.
German craftsmanship
Waldmann has been making writing instruments in Germany since 1918, and the Pocket Black Silver is produced in its workshop in the Pforzheim region, a centre of German jewellery making.
Nib and filling
Every Pocket Black Silver is fitted with a polished stainless steel nib in your choice of Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. The Pocket Black Silver takes standard international cartridges, and a converter is included for bottled ink.
Looking after the Pocket Black Silver
Sterling silver can darken gently with time; a soft silver cloth brings back the shine on the Pocket Black Silver. Flush the nib section of the Pocket Black Silver with clean water when you change ink colours.
