Frequently asked questions
What does the Eagle colourway look like?
Swirls of deep turquoise warmed by green and brown, touched with white and lit by luminous silver reflections, inspired by the Eagle Nebula. Gold-plated trim adds warmth.
What is it made of?
A custom Italian acrylic resin over a brass core, giving the pen strength and a weighty 46g feel.
Which nib does it use?
Visconti's own 18K gold nib, available in EF, F, M, B and Stub 1.3.
How do I fill it?
With bottled ink, using the Double Reservoir Power Filler. Unscrew the end, pull the plunger, dip the nib and push down: the vacuum fills the barrel with up to 3.63ml of ink.
Is it secure in a pocket?
Yes. The Hook Safe Lock cap needs only a quarter turn and holds firm.
Is it really limited?
Yes, Visconti produced 388 pieces worldwide, making it a true collector's item.
