Description
Black and chrome never fails. The Sailor Professional Gear Slim Black ball pen is a sharp, businesslike writing tool with Sailor's signature flat-ended Pro Gear silhouette, a glossy black resin body and bright chrome trim. It's the pen you'll want in your jacket for important meetings, and the one you'll keep reaching for afterwards.
Built around a design icon
Sailor's Professional Gear is one of the most recognisable modern pen designs from Japan. Its flat cap top and flat barrel end set it apart from the rounded torpedo shapes most brands use. In black and chrome, that geometry looks especially strong and confident.
The hands-on details
This Slim model measures 133mm long with a 12mm diameter. It weighs 29g, so it sits solidly in your hand and moves smoothly across the paper. There's no cap to remove. Simply twist the barrel to extend the tip, and twist back to retract it.

We see this pen bought most often by:
- Lawyers, chartered accountants and consultants who sign all day
