The Pelikan Classic M200
Pelikan is one of Germany's most historic pen makers, and the Classic M200 is one of its most loved models. It's compact and light, only 14g in total (4g cap, 10g barrel), 125mm capped and 149mm posted, with a 12mm diameter. That makes it an easy, comfortable pen to carry and to write with for long periods.
Pelikan's piston filler
Like its more expensive Souverän siblings, the M200 fills with a built-in piston mechanism. Twist the end knob, dip the nib into a bottle and draw up ink. It holds about 1.20ml, so you can use any bottled ink you like and write for a good while between fills.
Steel nib in four sizes
The steel nib is available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad. Pelikan nibs are known for smooth, generous ink flow. Extra Fine and Fine suit neat everyday handwriting, while Medium and Broad give a richer line that shows off ink colours.
