Description
Small pen, big choice of inks. The Monteverde MV31082 Push Type Mini Converter is a short converter designed for compact fountain pens whose barrels are too small for a full-length converter.
Key highlights
- Model: MV31082
- Size: mini, short length
- Capacity: about 0.4ml
- Mechanism: push type
- Fits: compact standard international pens
Made for pocket pens
Many pocket and short fountain pens only accept short international cartridges, so a regular converter will not fit inside the barrel. The MV31082 mini is compact enough to fit these small pens, so you can still fill them from bottled ink.
Filling the MV31082
Insert the mini converter, dip the nib in ink, then squeeze and release. Its capacity of around 0.4ml is modest, which suits short writing sessions and lets you change colours often with little waste.
A handy tip
Because the MV31082 holds less ink than a full-size converter, it is worth topping it up before a long day of writing, or carrying a spare short cartridge as backup.
Frequently asked questions
Will the MV31082 fit a full-size pen?
It will usually fit, but a full-length converter holds more ink, so the mini is best kept for compact pens.
How much ink does the MV31082 hold?
Roughly 0.4ml.
Is the MV31082 suitable for Lamy or Pilot pens?
No. It fits standard international cartridge pens only.
