Lotus Mesa is a majestic fountain pen created from the famed SEM Ebonite of Germany. The Lotus Mesa Sem Ebonite fountain pen is exclusive to Makoba. The design is an upgrade compared to the regular Mesa series. Firstly a brass button has been added to the top with the Lotus logo on it to make the brand more prominent and also to match other International brands look and feel. Second differentiator in this fountain pen is the use of limited edition SEM ebonite. Lotus Mesa fountain pen is crafted out of four different shades of Ebonite. First we have the Twilight blue, a beautiful shade of blue with tiny swirls of black and a hint of pale orange. Second is the Teal green, a brilliant green toned ebonite with waves and swirls in pale yellow. Third is called the Garnet red, which has heavy brick red ebonite with black swirls all over the pen. And fourth is our favorite, The Midnight Sun. This phenomenon occurs north of Arctic Circle or south of Antarctic Circle when the sun is still visible at local midnight time. The ebonite has hues of Teal, Blue, large waves of orange and hint of black that brings out the calm nights of a Midnight Sun. The fountain pen houses a Jowo steel nib and captures ink in a Schmidt converter for easy and consistent ink flow. Within India, we charge a delivery fee of INR 125 for orders below INR 1500. For orders above INR 1500 shipping is free.
International shipping is calculated at Rs 3000 for orders under INR 15000.00 (Approx US$200). For orders above INR 15000.00 (Approx US$200) we don’t charge a shipping fee. This is applicable to standard packaged pens.
Please note, In the case of International shipments we are not responsible for payment of destination-specific local duties and taxes. Please do your due diligence before placing orders. Shipping methods and delivery times and tracking:For shipping within India, we have partnered with leading courier and delivery companies like Blue Dart, FedEx, Delhivery, etc. The Courier partner for any particular Indian Pin code depends on the availability of service of any of the provided service partners. Orders placed before 12:00 noon usually get shipped the same day or max in 24 hours. Once the shipment process is started, you would start receiving automated email and SMS updates with tracking details, from our Shipping management partners. We usually ship products only through Airfreight that reach a destination in 2 working days.
For Shipping to International addresses, our preferred courier partners are EMS Speed Post and UPS. Depending on the product combination ordered, order preparation can take about 3 days to ensure safe packaging and to complete the formalities.

Shipping restrictions:For Shipments within India, we don’t have any restrictions in place. If at all, any arise due to non-accessibility of any particular region or city, our support team will coordinate to find the best alternative.
For International orders, there are restrictions in place to courier liquid products i.e Inks. Kindly avoid ordering inks. Even if by oversight, inks are ordered we would refund the order value of inks and ship only the items allowed.
In very rare and unpredictable circumstances, a package is lost during transit. We would wait for a period of 30 days to complete the process of tracking and re-shipping to your right address, failing which we would give a refund at the end of 30 days.
