Description
Lamy Safari Roller Ball Pen with Ink Cartridge - Steel Black BT
Dark, sleek and ready for work. The Lamy safari Roller Ball Pen with Ink Cartridge in Steel Black is finished in a special-edition matte steel black, with a black clip for an all-dark look.
This is not an ordinary rollerball. The Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball writes with real fountain pen ink from a LAMY T10 cartridge, fed to a rollerball tip, so you get the smooth, wet line of a fountain pen with the easy, no-fuss handling of a rollerball.
LAMY has made pens in Heidelberg, Germany, since 1930, and the safari design, which the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball shares, has been a design classic since 1980.
How the ink cartridge rollerball works
Inside the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball sits a blue LAMY T10 ink cartridge, the same cartridge used in LAMY fountain pens. The ink flows to a rollerball writing tip, so the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball has no nib to learn and no angle to worry about.
Refills and care
When the ink runs out, simply fit a new blue LAMY T10 cartridge in the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball. LAMY recommends only the blue T10 cartridge for the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball, and it is not made for a converter. A worn tip on the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball can be swapped for a LAMY Z 140 writing tip.
The safari design
The Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball has a tough plastic body, the famous moulded grip that guides your fingers into place, a snap cap and the sturdy safari metal clip. At 12mm across, the Lamy safari Steel Black ink cartridge rollerball is light and comfortable for long writing sessions.
