Description
Green and pink should not work together, and yet on the LAMY AL-star Disco 0.5mm mechanical pencil they absolutely do. This 2026 special edition is a small burst of joy for your pencil case.
Meet the Disco colourway
In the Disco edition, the body glows in a bright, light green anodised aluminium, while the clip, front ring and translucent grip section burst into pink. The result is bold, summery and impossible to lose in a crowded drawer.
Built for real work
Under the party colours sits a precise drafting tool. The 0.5mm lead is perfect for technical drawings, graph work, crossword puzzles and neat handwriting. A click of the push button feeds fresh lead, and a LAMY eraser waits under the cap whenever you need a correction.
Why students love the AL-star pencil
- The triangular grip encourages a correct, relaxed hold, which helps with long exams
- The aluminium body is light and robust
- The springy metal clip keeps it attached to a notebook or pocket
- Standard LAMY M41 0.5mm leads are easy to replace
About the special editions
Disco and its sister edition Rollerskate are LAMY's second AL-star special editions of 2026, released in summer 2026 with a playful nod to the disco and roller-skating culture of the 1970s and 80s. Collectors often buy the pencil to complete a matching set with the fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint.
Refill and care
To add leads, pull off the cap, lift out the eraser and drop in new M41 leads. Replace the eraser when it wears down, and wipe the aluminium with a soft cloth to keep the colours bright.
