Autumn, captured in a fountain pen. The Laban 325 Fountain Pen in Ginkgo pairs a marbled golden-yellow acrylic barrel with a creamy ivory cap and polished gold-plated trim, inspired by the ginkgo trees that line city streets when their leaves turn to gold.

The tree that outlived the dinosaurs
The ginkgo is one of the oldest tree species on Earth, a living fossil whose fan-shaped leaves have barely changed in millions of years. Each autumn they turn a brilliant gold before falling. Laban's designers took that fleeting moment of colour and set it in swirling acrylic, so every turn of the pen shows a different pattern of yellow and cream.
About the Laban 325
The 325 is one of Laban's signature models: a stately, flat-topped, two-tone design with an ivory cap and end piece that frame a coloured barrel. A gold Laban medallion crowns the cap, and gold-plated rings and clip complete the classic look. At 149mm long and around 34g, it has a comfortable, balanced size for long writing sessions.
A German nib with a Taiwanese signature
Laban fits the 325 with a size #6 Jowo nib made in Germany, in gold-plated stainless steel. Look closely and you will see the number 3952 engraved on it: the height in metres of Mount Jade (Yushan), Taiwan's highest peak and a quiet nod to the brand's home. Jowo nibs are known for smooth, consistent writing straight out of the box.
Easy to fill
The pen takes standard international cartridges, short or long, and a converter is included in the box, so you can use any bottled ink from day one. A golden-brown or warm sepia ink looks wonderful in a Ginkgo pen.
