Why choose Amazonia?
Amazonia is a rich green for nature journaling, sketching and labelling. In Amazonia, pigment particles sit on the surface of the paper rather than soaking in like dye, which helps the colour stay sharp and resist water once dry.
Looking after your pen
Pigment inks like Amazonia contain fine particles, so we recommend using Amazonia in a pen you write with regularly, giving the bottle a gentle shake before filling and flushing the pen with water every few fills.
Frequently asked questions
Is Diamine Forever Amazonia waterproof?
Amazonia is water resistant once fully dry, so writing stays legible after a spill.
Can I use Amazonia in any fountain pen?
Amazonia is formulated for fountain pens. We suggest keeping Amazonia in a pen you use often and clean regularly.
Is Amazonia good for drawing?
Yes. Its permanence makes Amazonia popular for sketching and line work that may later be painted over with watercolour.
