This pen is an awesome make. It glides on the paper. I have bought the extra fine nib version. But i must say packaging of Makoba is fantabulous.

Lamy Violet Blackberry Ink Cartridge

It's a Beautiful German Ink! It has an amazing Dark Purple hue. But it's only suitable for LAMY fountain pens. So, before buying it, one must keep in mind that it will not work with any other pens.

Amazingly smooth, great value for the money

The Kakuno is such a great fountain pen at an entry level, very smooth and can be used straight out of the box. Also, great packaging from Makoba

Likes: very professional, good communications, prompt shipment

Improvements: everything was ok.

Good ballpoint refill, fits the Dupont pen fine.

The fit is perfect for the Dupont ball pen, the threads match exactly like the original Writing characteristics of the refill and ink flow is reasonably good.
