Description
Bright, beachy and built to write, the TWSBI Eco Fountain Pen in Bahama Yellow is a 2026 colour of one of the world's most loved piston-filling pens. A crystal-clear barrel shows off your ink, while the sandy yellow cap and piston knob bring a splash of holiday sunshine to your desk.
Key highlights
- Filling: built-in piston, about 1.8ml of ink
- Body: clear resin barrel with a sandy yellow cap and piston knob
- Trim: silver-tone (chrome)
- Nib: stainless steel, EF, F, M, B or 1.1 stub
- Cap: screw-on, hexagonal, postable
- Size: about 139mm closed, 167.5mm posted, 21g
- In the box: pen, wrench and silicone grease
Why the TWSBI Eco is a legend
The Eco is often recommended as the best piston filler for the price. It holds about 1.8ml of ink, much more than a standard cartridge, so you can write for days between refills. The demonstrator barrel lets you see exactly how much ink is left, and swirling colours look fantastic through the clear resin.
Bahama Yellow: a 2026 colour
TWSBI released Bahama Yellow in 2026. The soft, sandy yellow is warm rather than neon, so it feels relaxed and summery. Fill it with a blue, turquoise or green ink and the whole pen looks like a beach holiday.
Easy to fill, easy to maintain
- Twist the piston knob to lower the piston
- Dip the nib into your ink bottle
- Twist back to draw up ink, then wipe the nib
TWSBI includes a wrench and silicone grease, so you can take the piston apart for deep cleaning and keep it running smoothly for years.
Choose your nib
The stainless steel nib comes in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad and a 1.1mm Stub. The stub is especially popular for showing off ink shading and adding italic-style flair to your writing.
Frequently asked questions

Is it the Eco or the Eco-T?
