Metal body, comfortable weight
Because the VFM is made of brass rather than plastic, it feels sturdier than most pens at this price. It weighs 25g in total (16g barrel, 9g cap), measures 137mm capped and has a slim 11.5mm diameter. The snap cap is quick to pull off when you want to jot something down, and it posts on the back if you prefer a longer pen.
Simple cartridge filling
The VFM takes ink cartridges, and one is included in the box so you can start writing straight away. It's the no-fuss option: no bottles, no mess, just pop in a fresh cartridge when you run dry. The steel nib is available in Fine and Medium. Fine is great for small, neat handwriting, and Medium gives a slightly bolder, smoother line.
