The Galaxy series
The Sailor 1911 Casual L Galaxy series is an overseas limited edition (not sold in Japan) released in 2026 in five cosmic colours: Supernova Crimson, Solar Flare Gold, Meteorite Moss, Nebula Violet and Cosmic Abyss. Each pen pairs a shimmering PMMA resin body with black ion-plated trim and a matching black ion-plated stainless steel nib.
Supernova Crimson
This is the most energetic colour of the five: a deep, glowing red that sparkles as it moves through the light. Against the black trim it looks dramatic and modern, a pen that is impossible to overlook on a desk.
The legendary Sailor writing experience
Sailor is famous for its nibs, and the Casual L's large stainless steel nib is hand-finished in Japan for a smooth, controlled writing feel that Sailor compares to its gold nibs. Choose Extra Fine or Fine for small, precise handwriting (Japanese nibs run finer than European ones), Medium Fine as a lovely in-between, or Medium and Broad for a bolder line.
