Tradition, and the road ahead. The Platinum #3776 Century Travia takes its name from a blend of 'Tradition' and 'Via' (path). It is a long-bodied, flat-top 3776 in Onyx Black resin with dark black nickel and black chrome finishes and Platinum's new 14K FLAF nib, released on 14 March 2026.

The meaning of Travia
Platinum created the Travia to honour its past while looking to the future. The launch edition came in a special package of 2,000 sets, 900 of them for markets outside Japan, together with a revised edition of the founder's book. Once those are gone, Travia continues as a standard edition in Platinum's regular gift box.
A darker, longer 3776
The Travia builds on the flat-top Decade design but stretches the body, adding a metal balancer in the middle of the barrel. The result is a pen of about 142mm and 29g, with a 15mm diameter: noticeably more substantial than a standard #3776 Century. Every metal part is finished in black nickel or black chrome, giving it a stealthy, monochrome look.
The FLAF nib
Travia debuts Platinum's 14K gold FLAF nib, short for 'Float Like A Feather'. As the name suggests, it is designed to feel light and soft on the page, and its ruthenium finish matches the dark trim perfectly. Choose Fine for precise Japanese-style writing or Medium for a smoother, fuller line.
Slip & Seal: never dries out
Like every #3776 Century, the Travia uses Platinum's Slip & Seal inner cap, which keeps the nib from drying out even after months without use. The Converter-700A and a blue-black cartridge come in the box.
