Description
Visconti Mirage Mythos Roller Ball Pen - Odysseus GT
Every great story needs a hero, and Visconti has chosen one of the greatest. The Visconti Mirage Mythos Roller Ball Pen in Odysseus GT is named after the wandering king of Ithaca from Homer's Odyssey, finished in deep blue acrylic resin with gold-plated trim.
Visconti, founded in Florence in 1988, built the Mirage Mythos collection behind the Visconti Odysseus rollerball around the gods and heroes of Greek mythology, from Zeus and Apollo to Aphrodite and Hades. The Visconti Odysseus rollerball brings Odysseus into the family: a blue as rich as the wine-dark sea he sailed for ten years on his way home, set off by warm gold accents.
Inspired by the Odyssey
Odysseus was known for his cleverness as much as his courage, and the Visconti Odysseus rollerball is a pen for thinkers, writers and planners. Its blue resin has depth and movement, so the Visconti Odysseus rollerball looks different in every light.
Italian craftsmanship
The Visconti Odysseus rollerball is made in Florence from acrylic resin, with the gold-plated clip and fittings that give the Mirage Mythos its classic, elegant profile.
The magnetic cap
Instead of threads or a snap, the Visconti Odysseus rollerball closes with a magnet. Bring the cap close and it settles into place with a satisfying click of metal; it also posts securely on the end of the barrel while you write.
Smooth rollerball writing
A rollerball uses liquid ink, so the Visconti Odysseus rollerball glides across the page with almost no pressure, ideal for long letters, journaling and signing documents.
Size
The Visconti Odysseus rollerball is 139.3mm long capped and 159mm posted, 15mm in diameter and about 32g, a substantial, well-balanced pen.
