Description
Visconti Mirage Mythos Ball Pen - Odysseus GT
Some journeys become legends. The Visconti Mirage Mythos Ball Pen in Odysseus GT is named after the wandering king of Ithaca from Homer's Odyssey, finished in deep blue acrylic resin with gold-plated trim.
Visconti, founded in Florence in 1988, built the Mirage Mythos collection behind the Visconti Odysseus ballpoint around the gods and heroes of Greek mythology, from Zeus and Apollo to Aphrodite and Hades. The Visconti Odysseus ballpoint brings Odysseus into the family: a blue as rich as the wine-dark sea he sailed for ten years on his way home, set off by warm gold accents.
Inspired by the Odyssey
Odysseus was known for his cleverness as much as his courage, and the Visconti Odysseus ballpoint is a pen for thinkers, writers and planners. Its blue resin has depth and movement, so the Visconti Odysseus ballpoint looks different in every light.
Italian craftsmanship
The Visconti Odysseus ballpoint is made in Florence from acrylic resin, with the gold-plated clip and fittings that give the Mirage Mythos its classic, elegant profile.
Twist and write
Turn the Visconti Odysseus ballpoint and the tip appears, ready to write; turn back and it retracts. The Visconti Odysseus ballpoint takes a standard Parker-style ballpoint refill, so replacements are easy to find in many colours.
Size
The Visconti Odysseus ballpoint is 136mm long and 13mm in diameter, and at about 24g it is light enough for long meetings and daily notes.
