Why choose Olive Green?
Olive Green feels natural and grown-up. The earthy cap and the green-and-clear body suit green, teal and brown inks, and look right at home next to a leather journal.
How the Lock-It piston works
To fill the Olive Green MP1, unlock the piston knob, dip the nib in ink and turn the knob to draw it up into the barrel. When you are done, the Lock-It catch of the Olive Green pen holds the knob in place so it cannot be turned by accident. Because the whole barrel of the Olive Green MP1 is the ink chamber, it holds around 2ml, far more than a standard converter.
A German nib for every hand
Monteverde fits the Olive Green MP1 with a #6 stainless steel nib from JoWo in Germany, on a plasma-treated feed for consistent flow. Choose your Olive Green MP1 in Extra Fine to Broad, a 1.1 stub for italic-style lettering, or Omniflex, a soft, flexible steel nib that gives line variation with gentle pressure.
Frequently asked questions
Can the Olive Green MP1 use cartridges?
No, the Olive Green MP1 is a piston filler and fills directly from bottled ink, which is why a 15ml bottle is included.
How much ink does the Olive Green MP1 hold?
Roughly 2ml, enough for many days of writing with your Olive Green MP1.
What is Omniflex on the Olive Green MP1?
Omniflex is Monteverde's flexible steel nib option for the Olive Green MP1, giving expressive, varied lines.
