Why an ink mixer?
In a narrow converter, ink can cling to the walls and form an air bubble that stops it from reaching the nib, especially with saturated or sheening inks. The small bead inside the MV31083 moves as you write or give the pen a gentle tilt, breaking that surface tension so the ink flows evenly to the feed.
How to fill
- Push the converter firmly onto the pen's grip section.
- Dip the nib fully into the ink bottle.
- Turn the knob to lower the piston, then turn it back to draw ink up.
- Wipe the nib and section clean, and start writing.
