Why the 149 matters
The Meisterstück 149 Black RGT is the largest pen in the Meisterstück family, a line Montblanc began in 1924. With its torpedo silhouette, three cap rings in rose gold tone and the white star emblem on the cap, the Meisterstück 149 Black RGT is instantly recognisable.
Writing with the Meisterstück 149 Black RGT
Each 149 nib is crafted from 18K gold (Au 750) and finished with bi-colour rhodium and rose gold coating. The generous size of the Meisterstück 149 Black RGT nib gives a cushioned, expressive line. We stock the Meisterstück 149 Black RGT in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad.
Filled by piston
Rotate the end of the Meisterstück 149 Black RGT to draw bottled ink straight into the barrel. A window just above the grip lets you check the ink level at a glance, so the Meisterstück 149 Black RGT never runs dry by surprise.
