Outstanding Japanese fountain pen! (Pilot Metropolitan Retro Pop Fountain Pen - Red)

I love Japanese fountain pens and inks, especially the ones made by Pilot and Sailor. This is, in fact, my 3rd Pilot Metropolitan. I bought it only to collect this attractive color.
It’s a genuine product that is made in Japan. The delivery was on time and was well-packed, ensuring no damage to the pen. It came in a nice box with 2 proprietary (black) ink cartridges and a squeeze converter.
Pilot Metro is an outstanding beginner’s pen. I will recommend it to people looking for a starter fountain pen. Overall, it was a satisfying experience! I hope this info helps you to decide on your future orders.

Unsatisfactory Service and Below Expectation Pen

1. The ink cartridge that comes along with the pen was missing from the box.
2. I ordered this pen along with an Iroshizuku 50 mL bottle. In both the boxes the seals were broken.
3. The pen (Black-GT) came with a Con 40 converter and it makes rattling noises when handling the pen.
4. The Medium nib that I ordered has issues with upstrokes.

This pen is an awesome make. It glides on the paper. I have bought the extra fine nib version. But i must say packaging of Makoba is fantabulous.

Lamy Violet Blackberry Ink Cartridge

It's a Beautiful German Ink! It has an amazing Dark Purple hue. But it's only suitable for LAMY fountain pens. So, before buying it, one must keep in mind that it will not work with any other pens.
