Description
One of the smallest silver fountain pens you can buy, the Waldmann Voyager Fountain Pen in Sterling Silver measures just 93mm when closed. It is made of solid 925 sterling silver, has no clip, and is designed to travel everywhere with you.
Key highlights
- Collection: Waldmann Voyager
- Material: 925 sterling silver
- Trim: clipless
- Cap: screw cap, postable
- Nib: stainless steel: EF, F, M or B
- Weight: 33g
Built to travel
The Voyager Silver closes with a screw cap, so the nib stays sealed in a pocket, purse or travel kit. Without a clip, the Voyager Silver slides easily into small spaces, and posting the cap extends it to 106mm for comfortable writing.
Small but solid
Despite its tiny length, the Voyager Silver weighs about 33g and is 11.6mm across, so it feels substantial rather than fragile. It makes a thoughtful gift for frequent travellers.
German craftsmanship
Like the rest of the range, the Voyager Silver is made by Waldmann in the Pforzheim area of south-west Germany, a region known worldwide for precious metal craft.
Nib and filling
Every Voyager Silver is fitted with a polished stainless steel nib in your choice of Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. The Voyager Silver takes standard international cartridges, and a converter is included for bottled ink.
Looking after the Voyager Silver
Sterling silver can darken gently with time; a soft silver cloth brings back the shine on the Voyager Silver. Flush the nib section of the Voyager Silver with clean water when you change ink colours.
