What "Brilliant" means
On Waldmann's Brilliant pens, the silver is engraved first and then coated with layers of coloured lacquer. On the Tango Brilliant Black, the engraving shimmers through the glossy black as the light moves.
Tango size and feel
The Tango Brilliant Black measures 137mm closed and 11.6mm across and weighs about 39g, with a screw cap.
German craftsmanship
The Tango Brilliant Black comes from Waldmann's workshop in the Pforzheim region of Germany, where the company has focused on solid silver writing instruments for generations.
Nib and filling
Every Tango Brilliant Black is fitted with a polished stainless steel nib in your choice of Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad. The Tango Brilliant Black takes standard international cartridges, and a converter is included for bottled ink.
Looking after the Tango Brilliant Black
Sterling silver can darken gently with time; a soft silver cloth brings back the shine on the Tango Brilliant Black. Flush the nib section of the Tango Brilliant Black with clean water when you change ink colours.
