Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Crystal fountain pen is a fusion of resin and lava dust from Mt Etna. The pen’s distinctive and contemporary elegance is given by the black barrel, reminiscent of volcano slopes, and its dark components. Visconti Homo Sapiens Dark Crystal is a homage to all pen users who enjoy a functional and elegant writing instrument, enhanced by technical and stylistic features.
Resin and basalt lava powder are matched by black trim and a smoke and large ink window on body that shows you the ink level and how the filling mechanism works. Also the ring where grip section meets the body is made of transparent resin in smoke color with the engraving Homo Sapiens on it. The mixture of resin and Lava powder makes the pen virtually unbreakable and is treated in such a way as to guarantee a particularly pleasant writing sensation.
It takes many features from the popular Homo Sapiens Dark Age, such as the glossy black metallics and the 18k nib finished in ruthenium. The pen is equipped with the famous bayonet lock and the double reservoir power filler, which guarantees a long writing autonomy and protection from accidental ink leaks.
