The Scribo Feel Corteccia fountain pen is a Limited Edition Italian fountain pen inspired by the textures of tree bark ("corteccia" in Italian). Its brown and grey resin body is set off by dark ruthenium trim, and it's fitted with Scribo's much-admired 18K gold nib, available in eight different grinds.
About Scribo
Scribo is a Bologna-based pen maker founded by artisans who spent their careers at Omas, and it's become one of the most talked-about names in Italian fountain pens, especially for the quality of its nibs.
The Scribo Feel
The Feel is Scribo's flagship shape, designed for comfort during long writing sessions. It's a large pen, 148mm capped with a generous 17mm diameter, and weighs 38.5g in total (14g cap, 24.5g barrel). The Feel is designed to be used unposted; the cap does not post. A secure screw cap protects the nib, and the trim is finished in dark ruthenium.
Built-in piston filler
The Feel fills with a built-in piston holding about 1.42ml of ink, so you can use any bottled ink and enjoy long writing sessions between refills.
18K gold nib in eight grinds
This version comes with Scribo's 18K gold nib, offered in an unusually wide range: Extra Extra Fine, Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, Broad, Double Broad, Triple Broad and Stub 1.4. Whether you write tiny notes or want a bold, dramatic line, there's a nib to match. The Stub 1.4 adds italic-style thick-and-thin variation to everyday handwriting.
