Inspired by a golden berry
Sea buckthorn grows along coasts and riverbanks, and in late summer its branches glow with clusters of tiny orange berries. Rohrer & Klingner captured that vivid, sunny colour in this limited edition ink.
How it writes
Sea Buckthorn offers strong, saturated colour with good flow, so it looks bright even in fine nibs and becomes richer in broad nibs and dip pens. It is a cheerful choice for headings, annotations, bullet journals and creative lettering.
About Rohrer & Klingner
Rohrer & Klingner was founded in Leipzig in 1892 and today makes its inks in Zella-Mehlis, Germany. Its writing inks are loved by fountain pen users around the world for their reliable flow and distinctive colours.
Tips for orange inks
- Use smooth, fountain-pen-friendly paper for the cleanest lines
- Broad and stub nibs show off orange inks especially well
- Flush your pen with water when changing colours
