Why the safari is a classic
Designed in 1980, the safari combines a tough body, a triangular grip that guides your fingers into a relaxed hold, and a big, springy wire clip. It is reliable, comfortable and easy to maintain, which is why so many students and designers start their fountain pen journey with one.
Neon done right
Neon Pink is joyful, confident and a little rebellious. It stands out on a desk, in a pencil case or on a notebook spread, and it makes every page feel a bit more fun.
Choosing a nib
- Extra Fine: for small handwriting and dense planners
- Fine: the most popular everyday choice
- Medium: a smooth, slightly bolder line
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the nib later?
Yes, LAMY steel nibs slide off and on, so you can swap line widths easily.
Is it good for beginners?
Absolutely. The safari is one of the most recommended first fountain pens in the world.
Perfect pairings
Pair it with LAMY T10 ink cartridges in pink for a vibrant match, and with the Rhodia softcover notebook in Coral, loved for its smooth fountain-pen-friendly paper.
