The Violet Rain finish
Violet Rain is a rich violet lacquer that seems to shimmer as the light moves, and the gold trim of the A2 Violet Rain RB adds warmth.
About the Excellence A2
Diplomat has made writing instruments since 1922, and the A2 Violet Rain RB belongs to its signature Excellence A2 line: a metal body under multi-layer lacquer, a sprung metal clip and a barrel band engraved 'Diplomat since 1922' and 'made in Germany'.
Smooth rollerball writing
The A2 Violet Rain RB writes with a liquid-ink Diplomat rollerball refill in black, giving a 0.7mm line that glides with very little pressure, perfect for signatures and long notes.
Capped and postable
A snap cap protects the tip of the A2 Violet Rain RB, and you can post it on the end, bringing the pen to about 155mm.
