The Endura
The Endura Abalone Wood rollerball belongs to the Endura line, which Conklin (founded in Toledo, Ohio in 1898) first introduced in the 1920s. Like today's Endura range, the Endura Abalone Wood rollerball keeps a classic, gently tapered shape with a sturdy clip.
The material
On the Endura Abalone Wood rollerball, abalone, the iridescent inner layer of a sea shell, glows with blues, greens, purples and pinks as it catches the light. Combined with natural wood and rose gold-plated trim, it gives the Endura Abalone Wood rollerball a warm, organic character.
Rollerball writing
The Endura Abalone Wood rollerball writes with a smooth rollerball refill and has the same screw cap as the fountain pen, which posts on the barrel while you write.
Size and weight
The Endura Abalone Wood rollerball is 135mm long capped and 164mm posted, and at about 40g it has a weighty, well-built feel.
